MEET RIZA...

Edmonton Dog Trainer, Behavior Specialist,

& Dog Walker

Proud Member of the

International Association

of Canine Professionals (IACP)

I TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO ENJOY MEANINGFUL
RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR DOGS.
My History...

My love for dogs was rooted from my early childhood growing up in a small town of Philippines observing the ways street dogs lived. They are not wild dogs. They lived closed to humans, they roamed freely on streets, rural areas, hunting and scavenging.

I watched how they worked for food, the interactions they had with their siblings, newborn puppies, with their surroundings, and how they learned to survive. They do not have much of the proper veterinary medical cares, stable shelters, forever families, or sufficient food or water. It's sad that in many parts of the world, dogs don't get the best treatments. At most, they are scouring trash cans and food scraps for sustenance. But the intelligence, beauty, and dignity of these local breeds amazes me. I learned a lot from observing their abilities for survival, the roles they serve to their pack and even the neighborhood, the difference of personalities, the love and loyalty they always give to people. In which had brought me to what I'm passionate about today. To help give back the same love and care that they've always given us.

My Purpose

My focus in life is to protect and save as many dogs as I possibly can. Honor their purpose so they may live a fulfilled life while reaching their fullest potential. I commit to helping dog owners, handlers, and families succeed in their training and leadership goals. Dogs make a lot of people happy. It's time to reciprocate the love and care they deserve.

Mission

Utilizing the power of learning to share the knowledge and skills to everyone in becoming better pack leaders. Promoting healthy companionship, and responsible ownership that protects the lives of many dogs around the world.

Vision

To advance  the quality of socialization between dogs and people. Developing more social programs that increases and enhances dogs' interactions with other dogs while also supporting the important role of education to everyone.

I GUIDE DOG OWNERS TO FOCUS ON WHAT TO DO AND DON'T DO. TO EVALUATE WHICH ACTIVITIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO FULFILLMENT.
My Journey...

Before my first dog, I volunteered at the Edmonton Humane Society under the Animal (Dog) Care Socialization program. I also spent time at the SDDA (Sport Detection Dog Association) Trial which gave me some inspiration about the use of dogs' main senses in experiencing the world. In addition to obtaining a Diploma in Assistant Veterinary program, I've also had the pleasure of attending seminars, and hands-on training with some of the most respected and renowned trainers in the world. To further my education, I continue to acquire mentoring, connecting through webinars, attending workshops, conferences, and shadow programs to stay current with the latest information and dog training studies. I grasp chances to grow, develop my skills to enjoy this passion of mine and to be able to enrich the lives of dogs and humans. My curiosity and eagerness to learn continually builds my confidence and sharpens my knowledge to be better at what I do as a professional trainer.
